What are Family Lodge Safaris all about? by

A Family Lodge Safari is an easy and more comfortable way to travel with kids in Africa yet still experience its awe-inspiring wild places and wildlife.

There are all kinds of family-friendly safari lodges to choose from in Africa, from tented camps in remote locations to luxurious private reserves near big cities.

One of the main perks of family safaris with lodge accommodation is that guests can sit back and relax without having to help with meal preparation, setting up camp and chores along the way. Many fully serviced camping safaris, however, also require little to no participation from guests.

Another major benefit of Family Lodge Safaris is the child-friendly activities and facilities offered by family-friendly safari lodges. Staying at a well-equipped lodge with a swimming pool, games room, children’s playground and other family-oriented amenities and activities ensures that you (the parents or grandparents) get plenty of time out to rest.
